Job Title: Site Engineer / Senior Site Supervisor (Classical Architecture)

Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or any relevant field.

Experience: 8 to 10+ Years (Heavy emphasis on classical, neo-classical, or premium traditional building structures)

Job Purpose
To monitor site operations, ensuring activities are carried out as per project plans, technical requirements, and quality standards for classical architectural projects. The role coordinates with teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient site execution.

Key Accountability Areas

  • Site Operations
    • Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure alignment with project schedules and classical design specifications.
    • Ensure compliance with high-end finishing, safety, and operational standards.
    • Verify that premium materials, equipment, and traditional crafting resources are available and properly utilized.
  • Coordination and Communication
    • Coordinate with design engineers, junior supervisors, skilled artisans, and external parties to resolve operational issues.
    • Provide updates on progress, risks, and structural or finishing concerns to the project team.
    • Support cross-functional collaboration between departments, vendors, and specialized contractors.
  • Progress Monitoring
    • Track site progress and identify potential delays or challenges in complex structural elements.
    • Recommend corrective actions to maintain schedules, material integrity, and targets.
    • Maintain accurate daily records of site activities, artisan attendance, and progress.
  • Technical Support
    • Interpret complex technical drawings, classical architectural layouts, molding specifications, and work plans.
    • Provide expert technical guidance to on-site execution teams and craftsmen.
    • Support troubleshooting and resolution of structural, operational, or technical problems on the floor.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, logs, and quality inspection records.
    • Ensure documentation is completed accurately for project tracking, client handovers, and audits.

Role Accountability

  • HR Proficiency: Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.
  • Delivery: Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules. Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time. Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Solve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational or structural architectural issues.
  • Quality: Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for premium finishing products, classical masonry, or related activities.
  • Business Process Improvements: Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation/reporting opportunities as much as possible.
  • Compliance: Comply with related policies, construction procedures, and work instructions.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality premium buildings.
